One of my employees was having a birthday last week. I found out the day before and was madly thinking through what to get her. She is a fabulous gal but I don’t know her that well yet, as I’ve only been working with her for a couple of weeks. I also wanted to make sure that whatever I did for her, I felt comfortable with it being the new birthday tradition for the office. Here’s what I came up with…
- Card (of course)
- Gift card (same about for each employee, customized by selecting different vendors)
- Homemade treat

And it turns out that my employee loves chocolate as much as I do, so they were a great birthday hit.
You don’t need to wait for a birthday to make these though:) They’re great for parties or just to share with the neighbors. Maybe you just want some chewy, chocolate, yumminess in your mouth while you mourn the loss of America’s iconic talk show… Oprah. Whatever the motivation, the end result will be an empty plate:)
Side note: if you don’t want to have an entire batch of brownie bites around the house, simply use half the mix and cut the other ingredients in half. One bag of brownie mix is about 4 cups, so half of a batch would need 2 cups of brownie mix.
Way better than cupcakes!
I love Brownie Bites! I did some with a friend for Christmas gifts from the Pioneer Woman’s website. We coated them in chocolate and decorated. I made faces on them. Those are the images in the header of my blog. Baked goods generally make good gifts- unless, of course, someone thinks you are out to poison them!
Oohh I love the idea of dipping in chocolate! Yum! Haha good point;)
Gosh, those are the cutest things EVER!!
